POLK STREET PLAYERS AWARDS NIGHT
SATURDAY, JUNE 21ST
The Polk Street Players Awards/Audience Appreciation Night was held on Saturday, June 21st in the Parish Hall of St. James’ Episcopal Church in Marietta. This was a fun filled evening, complete with a catered dinner by Elizabeth’s Edibles, photos and scenes of past productions, and the awards.
The actors who were awarded were Pat Perera, Evan Weisman, Barbara Rudy, and Murray Sarkin.
The Audience Favorite Play was “Tuesdays With Morrie”,
directed by Barbara Rudy.
The Fred Runde Award was presented to Barbara and Brad Rudy, and Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to
Head Chef Sol Putzel, and Founding Member Michael Campion.
The Polk Street Players Board have reluctantly decided to close after 35 years of continuous theater to the community
and to St. James’ Church.
Let’s say “good-bye” to an old friend as it takes its final curtain.
